Been a Long Time

Wow! I can't believe it has been this long since I posted to the blog. I really tried to get into it, but with work and other commitments, it just didn't work. Then I discovered Myspace and I stopped using this and starting using that, but now I don't use anything! I figured I could start posting on this blog again and let everyone know what is going on with the family.

So.... since the last time I posted over 2 years ago, we have moved from Roxborough to Castle Rock, Colorado. We live in the Meadows in a brand new Oakwood Home. Courtney has graduated from nursing school and works full time at Denver Health in the NICU. Zander is four years old, playing soccer and T-ball this year and will start kindergarten in the fall.

Oh, and we had a new baby boy, Jace Robert, born October 1, 2007. What a blessing these two boys are in our lives and we cannot thank God enough for them.

2007 was a crazy year. Here is what transpired:

1) I received a promotion from Engineer II to Engineer III in February.

2) Entered into contract to build new Oakwood home in the Meadows on March 30.

3) I began attending CU-Denver for my MBA in the Summer Semester.

4) Courtney graduated from Denver School of Nursing with her BSN.

5) Courtney passed her NCLEX exam and became a licensed registered nurse and began working in the NICU at Denver Health.

6) We sold our house in Roxborough and moved out of it an into a one bedroom condo in August.

7) Jace was born October 1.

8) I took the Professional Engineer exam October 20.

9) We moved into the new house on November 2.

10) I found out I passed the PE exam on Christmas Eve.

Well needless to say that anything after that year will be easy. 2008 has began very busy and as summer approaches we will continue to get busier. I hope to be able to share some pictures and video (if we ever get a camera) throughout the year as the kids grow and our family continues to thrive.
